The residents of Highfield Close, close to the town centre, are living on the former site of a renowned rheumatology centre, complete with hydrotherapy pool.

Highfield Hospital was closed in 1993 in a cost-cutting measure, despite a campaign which included 30,000-name petitions being handed in to 10 Downing Street.
