The Hadley Bowling Green, a half-timbered, 16th century inn with rooms, has one of the oldest Crown Bowling Greens in Britain.
And despite the lawn being about 450 years old, punters are free to have a game – so long as they can still see straight.
It is also thought that Guy Fawkes stayed at the inn whilst visiting Robert Catesby at Huddington Hall, to discuss the infamous Gunpowder Plot.
