Shops come and shops go, especially in this age of online retail, but there’s been one permanent fixture in Droitwich town centre.
Selling books, papers, magazines, stationery and more, W H Smith has been in the same spot in Victoria Square for around 90 years.
The first floor is now off limits to customers but vinyl records were once displayed there.
Does anyone remember venturing upstairs?
The toys were upstairs too. I remember buying a toy dreing machine, amongst other things, although Stevens and Baggotts were my favourites!
